Serious traffic accident in Urgut leaves injured passengers (video)

A serious traffic accident occurred in the Urgut district, Samarkand region, involving a Cobalt and a VAZ-21063 (Jiguli). The Road Traffic Safety Department reported the incident.

On April 30, at approximately 10:30 AM, on the 66th kilometer of the D-066 highway in Sariqtepa neighborhood, the driver of a Cobalt traveling along the Urgut-Kenagas route attempted to overtake another vehicle. While maneuvering, the driver entered the opposite lane, colliding head-on with an oncoming VAZ-21063.

Injured passengers were transported to the district medical center for emergency care after the crash. Authorities from the Urgut district police department have launched an investigation into the accident.

Previously, in Mirzo Ulugbek district, Tashkent, a similar collision occurred between a Cobalt and a LI XIANG vehicle. The two passengers in the Cobalt received medical treatment at the scene.
