8 vehicles involved in traffic accident in Tashkent

A road traffic accident involving eight vehicles occurred in Tashkent on March 28, the capital’s Traffic Safety Department reported.
According to the report, the accident took place at around 11:10 in the Eshonguzar neighborhood of Chilonzor district, opposite Chinni Bazaar. The collision involved eight vehicles: two Spark cars, three Cobalt cars, one BYD, one Matiz and one Lacetti.
As a result of the accident, one passenger in a Cobalt vehicle received first aid from medical personnel.
An investigation into the incident is currently being conducted by responsible officers of the Tashkent City Department of Internal Affairs’ Traffic Safety Division.
Earlier, authorities had reported that a driver who hit a five-year-old girl in the Urgut district of Samarkand region and fled the scene had been identified.
