Young woman dies in Samarkand following allegedly incorrect injection (video)

Reports have circulated on social media claiming that a patient died after receiving an incorrect injection administered by medical staff in the Payariq district of Samarkand region. According to the reports, a woman born in 1992 sought medical assistance due to health issues, but a procedure carried out during treatment, specifically an injection, reportedly worsened her condition and ultimately led to her death. The Prosecutor General’s Office commented on the incident through its press secretary, Hayot Shamsutdinov.

According to him, a pre-investigation review is currently being conducted by the прокуратура in connection with the case. A forensic medical examination has been ordered to determine the exact cause of death.

It was emphasized that the review will be carried out in a comprehensive, thorough, and impartial manner, and that a lawful decision will be made based on the results.

It is worth noting that earlier reports stated that a newborn baby was found dead at a maternity hospital in Samarkand.
