Government commission formed following explosion in Syrdarya

Earlier, it was reported that an explosion occurred at a food outlet located in the Taraqqiyot mahalla of Gulistan city, Syrdarya region, resulting in the deaths of three people and injuries to 29 others. In response, a government commission has been established under the leadership of Deputy Prime Minister Ochilboy Ramatov, the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported.

On 2 December, a fire broke out at the “Uz Bek Family” LLC food outlet in Gulistan due to the ignition of a gas-air mixture. As a result of the accident, 29 people sustained various injuries, three of whom died.

Following the instruction of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, the government commission led by Deputy Prime Minister Ramatov has been tasked with providing necessary assistance to the victims, determining the causes of the incident, and preventing similar accidents in the future.

It is worth noting that a criminal case was previously opened in connection with the explosion.
