On October 17, a passenger bus was involved in a traffic accident in Tashkent, colliding with two cars, the press service of “Toshshahatransxizmat” JSC reported.

According to the report, at around 16:35, the driver of route No. 26, a 1987-born man identified as Sh.O., was operating a Saz Le-60 bus owned by the “1-Avtobus saroyi” branch along Shahrisabz Street in Yunusabad district. The driver failed to take into account that the road surface had been sprayed with water and did not maintain a safe following distance, which led to the bus crashing into the rear of a Cobalt vehicle traveling ahead. As a result, the Cobalt then collided with a BYD car in front of it.

Preliminary information indicates that no one was injured in the accident, though the bus and the two cars sustained minor technical damage.

Earlier, it was reported that in Tashkent’s Yashnobod district, a Chery car had mounted a Malibu vehicle in a separate traffic incident.
