Fire breaks out at cemetery in Tashkent

Yesterday, November 17, a fire occurred in a vacant building at the “Oltintepa” cemetery in Mirzo Ulugbek district, Tashkent, the city’s Emergency Situations Department reported.
According to the report, at 5:39 p.m., authorities received a call about a fire in an unoccupied building within the cemetery, located on Mirishkor Street.
Fire and rescue teams arrived at the scene at 5:46 p.m. Prompt actions allowed firefighters to contain the blaze by 6:27 p.m. and fully extinguish it by 6:44 p.m.
Officials confirmed that no one was injured in the incident. The fire caused damage only to the vacant building within the cemetery.
Earlier, a fire broke out at a café in Qarshi, Qashqadaryo region.
