Uzbekistan drops in FIFA rankings

Following the conclusion of the Africa Cup of Nations in January this year, FIFA has released its updated world rankings, in which the Uzbekistan national team has dropped two places.
According to the updated rankings, Uzbekistan’s national team fell two positions to 52nd place. The team is currently ranked fifth among Asian national teams. Australia (27th), South Korea (22nd), Iran (20th), and Japan (19th) are all placed above Uzbekistan in the continental standings. At present, Uzbekistan has accumulated 1,462.03 ranking points.
In the global rankings, Spain remains in first place, Argentina holds second place, while the French national team coached by Didier Deschamps retains third place.
