Citizens of Uzbekistan and 16 other countries evacuated from Iran

More than 600 citizens of Uzbekistan and 16 other countries have been evacuated from Iran via Azerbaijan, according to a report by "Report".
The report states that a humanitarian corridor has been operating for five days. So far, over 600 people have passed through the Astara checkpoint without obstruction. Among those evacuated, in addition to Azerbaijani citizens, are nationals from 17 countries.
The evacuation includes citizens from CIS countries such as Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan. From Europe, evacuees include citizens of Germany, Spain, Italy, Serbia, Romania, and Portugal, who were evacuated based on their submitted requests.
Repatriated individuals also include citizens of the United States, the United Arab Emirates, China, and Vietnam.
It should be recalled that earlier, the spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, Ahror Burkhanov, reported that as of June 16, more than 30 Uzbek citizens had been successfully evacuated from Iran via Turkmenistan and Azerbaijan.
