Average monthly salary increases in Uzbekistan

In the first quarter of 2026, the average monthly salary in Uzbekistan reached 6.82 million soums, according to a report by the National Statistics Committee of Uzbekistan.

According to the data, Tashkent remains the highest-paying region in the country, with an average monthly salary of 11.7 million soums. It is followed by Navoi Region, where the average salary stands at 8.45 million soums.

The lowest salaries were recorded in Kashkadarya Region, where the average monthly wage is 4.66 million soums.

The highest salaries in Uzbekistan are paid in the banking, insurance, leasing, credit, and brokerage sectors, averaging around 18.6 million soums.

The lowest wages are in the agriculture, forestry, and fisheries sector, at approximately 3.5 million soums. Meanwhile, employees in healthcare and social services earn an average of 4.11 million soums, while those in the education sector receive about 4.61 million soums per month.

Earlier, it was reported that by the end of 2025, the average monthly salary in Uzbekistan stood at 6.376 million soums.
