From September 21 to 27 this year, Singapore is hosting the World Para Swimming Championship. The national team of Uzbekistan secured its first gold medal of the tournament on September 24.
In the S13 category, Yegor Bolotov competed in the 100-meter butterfly event, finishing in 58.97 seconds to claim the gold medal. This marks the second medal for the Uzbekistan team in the championship.
Men’s 100-meter butterfly (S13 classification):
- Gold: Yegor Bolotov (Uzbekistan) – 58.97 seconds
- Silver: Thomas van Vaanroy (Netherlands) – 59.35 seconds
- Bronze: Oleksiy Virchenko (Ukraine) – 59.45 seconds
The national team's first medal also belongs to Yegor Bolotov. On September 23, he competed in the men’s 100-meter freestyle (S13 classification), finishing the race in 53.13 seconds and securing third place, earning the team its first medal of the championship,a bronze.

- Gold: Yegor Shitkovskiy (Neutral Athlete) – 51.27 seconds
- Silver: Vitaliy Sibruk (Neutral Athlete) – 52.34 seconds
- Bronze: Yegor Bolotov (Uzbekistan) – 53.13 seconds
