Alejandro Arias Zarsuela has been appointed as the new ambassador of the Dominican Republic to Uzbekistan. The announcement was made by Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov on his Telegram channel.
According to Saidov, ambassador Alejandro Arias Zarsuela, who has begun his diplomatic mission as the Dominican Republic’s representative to Uzbekistan, presented his credentials to the minister.
’’Despite the long distance between our countries, we discussed ways to further strengthen bilateral cooperation in all areas. There is great potential for developing mutual partnership, and we wish the ambassador every success in his mission in Uzbekistan,’’ Saidov noted.
It is worth noting that earlier, Japan’s newly appointed ambassador to Uzbekistan, Kenji Hirata, presented copies of his credentials to Bakhtiyor Saidov.
Previously, the minister had also received credentials from Momcilo Babic, Serbia’s newly appointed ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary to Uzbekistan.
