Japan appoints new ambassador to Uzbekistan

Kenji Hirata has been appointed as Japan’s new ambassador to Uzbekistan. The announcement was made by Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov on his official Telegram channel.
According to the minister, Japan’s newly appointed ambassador to Uzbekistan, Kenji Hirata, presented copies of his credentials to him.
’’The bilateral and multilateral cooperation agenda between Uzbekistan and Japan continues to expand through mutually beneficial initiatives and projects. We wish His Excellency great success in his diplomatic mission in our country,’’ Saidov stated.
It is worth noting that earlier, Momčilo Babić, the newly appointed ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Serbia to Uzbekistan, also presented copies of his credentials to Bakhtiyor Saidov.
