Two 9-year-old boys drown in a pond in Andijan

Two 9-year-old boys died after falling into an artificial irrigation pond in the Altynkol district of Andijan region. The incident was reported by QALAMPIR.UZ.
To clarify the situation, the editorial team contacted Hayot Shamsutdinov, spokesperson for the Prosecutor General’s Office. According to his statement, on July 5 at approximately 14:00, two children — A.U. and M.M., both born in 2016 — fell into a pond dug for a drip irrigation system at the *Jaloliddin Oltin Tolasi* farm, located in the Turkiston massif of Altynkol district. Unfortunately, both children drowned and died at the scene.
The victims were 2nd-grade graduates of School No. 17 in Altynkol district.
It should be noted that a similar tragedy occurred earlier in the Parkent district of the Tashkent region, where three minors drowned in a pond.
