Today, August 1, power supply interruptions (totaling 6.6 MW) were reported in the Bostanlyk district of the Tashkent region following a road accident. This was reported by JSC National Electric Networks of Uzbekistan.
According to the report, at 14:50, the 110 kV L-Chorbog'-1 and L-Chorbog'-2 power lines, which originate from the GES-27 power facility, experienced an emergency shutdown. Preliminary findings indicate that the incident was caused by a truck crashing into a support pole.

As a result, power outages have affected residential buildings, industrial facilities, children's recreation centers, and the cable car complex in the district.
“The consequences of the road accident are being addressed by the power grid authorities, and measures are underway to restore electricity,” the statement said.
It should be recalled that earlier in the Syrdarya region, a similar incident occurred where 200 households lost electricity after a Nexia driver crashed into a power pole.
