In the Parkent district of the Tashkent region, the natural gas supply to some consumers was temporarily cut off after a truck struck a high-pressure gas pipeline, the Ministry of Energy reported.

According to the report, the collision caused a gas leak from the high-pressure pipeline. As a result, the natural gas supply was temporarily suspended for 2,415 residents and 56 wholesale consumers in the “Yoshlik,” “Markaziy,” “Guliston,” and “Oq Tepa” neighborhoods of the district.

At present, the district gas supply department’s emergency repair team is carrying out restoration work. Gas supply will be restored once the repairs are completed.

It is worth noting that earlier, in the Buka district of the Tashkent region, the high-pressure gas pipeline was damaged by an excavator, which temporarily cut off the natural gas supply in the district.
