Student rescues unattended child in Tashkent (video)

A university student in Tashkent’s Yangi Hayot district saved a young child who had been left unattended, the Tashkent City Department of Internal Affairs reported.
Videos circulating on social media show a child, approximately two to three years old, climbing onto a balcony and attempting to lean over the railing. At that moment, a student from the fifth floor descended without any protective gear and managed to rescue the child.
According to the student, when he reached the fourth-floor balcony, he saw not one but three children inside the apartment.
The report noted that the local prevention inspector has conducted a preventive conversation with the children’s mother.
Earlier, rescuers in Bakhmal district of Jizzakh region saved the life of a child who had fallen into a toilet pit.
