Uzbekistan has ratified the agreement with Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan on the tripoint of the three countries’ state borders. The relevant law was signed today, 14 November, by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
The law was adopted by the Legislative Chamber on 28 October and approved by the Senate on 1 November.
It is worth noting that on 31 March this year, President Mirziyoyev participated in a trilateral meeting in Khujand with Tajikistan’s President Emomali Rahmon and Kyrgyzstan’s President Sadyr Japarov, during which the tripoint border agreement was signed.
In July of this year, Kyrgyzstan also ratified the agreement.
