Teacher caught selling drugs in Jizzakh

In Jizzakh region, a 47-year-old school teacher was arrested for selling narcotics. The information was confirmed by the Jizzakh Regional Internal Affairs Department.

According to reports, the suspect, a resident of Sharof Rashidov district, worked as a teacher at one of the local general education schools.

During an operation conducted by the Jizzakh IIB Rapid Response Group, the man was caught in the act of selling “marijuana” near the school where he worked, receiving 1 million soums in exchange.

Authorities seized a total of 14 grams of the narcotic substance, which was officially documented as evidence.

Pre-investigation inquiries are currently underway.

Previously, in Samarkand, a person was arrested for storing 25.5 kg of marijuana at home.
