Two presidents to visit Uzbekistan

During the current week of 2025, President of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić and President of Finland Alexander Stubb will pay official visits to Uzbekistan. The news was reported by the Presidential Press Secretary, Sherzod Asadov.
It was noted that today, October 27, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev will hold an extended meeting to discuss the expected economic results for the current year and the main macroeconomic indicators planned for 2026.
In the second half of the day, the President will receive a delegation led by Sergio Gor, the US President’s Special Representative for South and Central Asia.
As is known, Uzbekistan is hosting a historic event — the 43rd session of the UNESCO General Conference. President Mirziyoyev will travel to Samarkand to take part in the opening ceremony of the conference, which is being held outside Paris for the first time. He will put forward new initiatives to strengthen international cooperation in the fields of culture, science, and education, and will also hold a number of bilateral meetings.
In addition, this week, Presidents Aleksandar Vučić of Serbia and Alexander Stubb of Finland will arrive in Uzbekistan on official visits. High-level talks are expected to be held within the framework of the summits, during which key issues of expanding bilateral cooperation will be discussed.
It is worth noting that earlier, Uzbekistan and the United Nations signed a new cooperation program for 2026–2030.
