The Bukhara Regional Department of Internal Affairs has issued an official statement in response to reports circulating on social media claiming that numerous Damas and Labo vehicles were being held without documents at an impound lot in Shofirkon District.
According to the statement, on January 7, 2026, a report was received from a doctor at the district hospital regarding a traffic accident. As a result of the incident, a minor born in 2011 was taken to a medical facility with various bodily injuries.

The Department of Internal Affairs stated that as part of the investigation into the traffic accident, white-colored Damas and Labo vehicles traveling within the district were stopped for inspection. Since no violations were found, the vehicles were returned to their owners.
On January 9, it was confirmed that the suspected driver responsible for the accident was a man born in Gijduvon District. He has admitted his guilt.
