On June 2, the lifeless body of a 24-year-old woman was discovered in the garbage chute of the hydroelectric power plant in the Kibray district of Tashkent region. This information was provided by Hayot Shamsutdinov, press secretary of the Prosecutor General's Office, in response to a request from QALAMPIR.UZ.
The woman, identified as B.O., born in 2001, had left her home in Kibray district on May 10 and was reported missing. Following search and rescue operations, her body was found without external injuries in the garbage chute of hydroelectric power plant No. 11 located on Ifor Street in the "Sahibkor" mahalla of Kibray district.
According to the forensic medical examination report, the cause of death was mechanical asphyxiation due to blockage of the upper respiratory tract by liquid (water).
The Kibray District Prosecutor’s Office is currently conducting a pre-investigation and will ensure a legal decision is made based on the findings.
It is worth noting that earlier this year, on March 24, the body of a two-year-old boy was found in a ditch in the Kurgancha neighborhood of Besharik district, Fergana region.
